The Moment of Truth is Upon Us

(This weeks post is dedicated to my dear friend T)
As we are growing as a civilization, growing in our consciousness, knowledge and spirit-one thing is apparent- THE MOMENT OF TRUTH IS UPON US. We are in the Age of Truth.
We hear it all around us-

“Be your Truth”   Honour your True Self”   “Love your True self”     Find your Truth”
“SPEAK YOUR TRUTH”

So what does it mean for us to be in our truth? And more importantly how do we stay in this moment of truth?

To be in your truth means to honour your authentic self. Honour who you really are and honour what you want and need. In our truth we have no fear, no hesitation, no blocks. We are in flow. Specifically it means that we know our values. It means we move beyond our belief system, beyond the expectations we have of others or feel are placed upon us. We move beyond those shackles and free ourselves from our ego limitations.
Moving into your truth is a process of shedding layers. It is a process of breaking down the barriers of protection and security. In your truth you stand confidently in your power.

Karma brings us back

We all know the concept of Karma, “For every action there will be an equal or opposite reaction” or simply put- we get what we give. However Karma is also a way of the universe brining us back to truth or back into alignment. All those “Lessons” we keep getting “hit” with- are they simply a sign and a way to bring us back to truth? Perhaps they do bring us back- when we start to listen!
Being in your truth means you make decisions which honour this truth. What stops is the people pleasing, the accommodating yourself, stop comprising what is important to you and living below your standards and below what you truly want. To be in our truth is liberating because in that moment of truth you give yourself what you deserve and know how worthy you are – no doubt or self limitations stand in your way.

HOW TO KNOW IF YOU ARE OUT OF TRUTH

Nothing feels right
We hit brick walls
People don’t understand or misinterpret us
Our communication is blocked
We manipulate and need to control situations
The universe keeps throwing us difficult situations
We get a gut feel but ignore it
We find ourselves being caught up in lies
That nagging voice within does not seem to shut up
We begin to show physical symptoms because our body and mind are out of alignment

For our relationships to really thrive we can only exist from TRUTH & FREEDOM- these virtues are our only way forward in order for us to truly shift into a greater space of consciousness- this is the path to peace and how to be your highest vibration.
The key to living in truth is through expression- SPEAKING YOUR TRUTH. The more you speak your truth the more you live your truth and the more people understand you, accept you and honour you.
Here are some helpful tips to speaking your truth:
©       Speak openly and honestly
©       Get clear within you what you want
©       Let go of expectations and judgments about how people will respond
©       Avoid keeping silent (only to keep the peace)
©       Avoid suppressing your emotions
©       Be Courageous
©       Be Authentic and real- As you speak your truth you set the standards for others to speak truthfully back
©       Avoid Assuming others response
©       Drop your guard
©       Focus on the feeling of Freedom and the gift you will be giving to yourself in your truth.
©       Most importantly remember that vulnerability is NOT WEAKNESS; VULNERABILITY IS STRENGTH- it is real and authentic and it takes courage to be your truth
©       GO FOR IT!
