The Moment You Are Waiting For Is Here

What if the moment we are waiting for is right here right now? What if we stopped pushing ourselves into the future and truly embraced what is in front of us right now? What would this mean for us?
Don’t you feel like there are times when you feel you are more in the future then in the present? We spend more time planning for the future and wanting to be more and have more. There is no problem in wanting more and there is no problem in planning for the future; the problem comes when the planning and wanting comes from fear.
In fact anytime we are in the past or the future we are in fear- we are either replaying a past event or venturing into the future where we place expectations and predictions for the future- “It must be this way” or “What if this or that happens”? We spend so much time left or right that we miss out on the opportunities life has to offer which are right in front of us. Most importantly we miss out on the precious lessons life is bringing us.
We don’t spend enough time lavishing what we are achieving now; we don’t celebrate this very moment enough! We want people to change, life to change and have more more more. It is evident in our language,
“I will be happy when….”  Or
“I will feel successful when….” Or
“This will work when… or
“This is not enough”
What if everything was perfect right now? This does not mean we give up wanting or give up evolving and growing, what this means is that we give up trying to bring the future into the present- it means we begin to embrace and appreciate what we have. Rather than being in fear and looking at what we don’t have we can begin to work with and build on what we do have.

“Every man dies.  Not every man really lives.”  Brave heart

If you are going through a moment of struggle now or feel your life is not exactly where you want it to be, consider this…Every great legend has had their moments of “struggle”. A point in their life which helped them build the tools, the strength and the resilience for what they needed in the future. Every point in time is an initiation period of what is to come, which means that every moment is preparing us for our future and when we embrace the present we are prepared and ready for what the future will bring us.
So let’s look at what we have in our lives right now- the people, the opportunities, the support, the friendships, the love. When we stop to look at what we DO have we realize everything is exactly as it must be and all we need to do is embrace and build upon what we have now. This is what we have and let’s make the most of it. After all… “Happy is he who is content with his lot”
Rather than wasting time worrying, fearing, planning, strategizing and desiring the future let’s have GRATITUDE for what we have. Let’s have TRUST in ourselves and in what the universe is bringing us now. Let’s have COURAGE to keep on going and the WISDOM to know that everything is in its right place- perfectly imperfect!

“You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment.”Henry David Thoreau
